CONGRATULATIONS! To the 2018 Winners and Finalists of the Difference Maker Diversity Awards

Over 45 people attended the State of the Nation event which celebrates the achievements of the Engaging Young Leaders on Aged Care and Community Boards program and winners of the Difference Maker Diversity Awards which recognises one person and one organisation who are championing diversity on boards.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Community Vision was the winner of the Not-For-Profit Board and Cate Rocchi Chair, Linkwest, was the winner of the Individual Board Director. It was inspiring to hear how they are implementing strategies, policies and practices to increase board diversity.

The Difference Maker Diversity Awards have highlighted how people and organisations are taking action, showing exceptional leadership, courage and commitment in promoting diversity to achieve better governance outcomes for their organisation and society.

We also acknowledge the two organisational finalists Volunteering WA and Maurice Zeffert Homes and the Individual Board Directors who included Mr Steve Archibald, Camp Quality and Mr Irwin Tollman, Board Chair Maurice Zeffet Homes.
