Difference Maker Diversity Awards Launch

Difference Maker Diversity Awards Information

The Difference Maker Diversity Awards recognises a board and director in the WA Not-For-Profit sector who are championing diversity in the board room.

The award highlights those who are showing exceptional leadership, courage and commitment in promoting diversity to achieve better governance outcomes for their organisation and society.  The award will showcase the innovative programs, initiatives and strategies that boards are using to enhance diversity and inclusion.

Do you know a Difference Maker?

Do you know an individual or Board that has reviewed the diversity of board membership by considering the following:

  • Experience – education, business, function and market
  • Personal – personality, interests and values
  • Demographic – gender, ethnicity, geography and generation

Or has a board director or board who has driven the following:

  • widening your board recruitment practices
  • implementing a board diversity policy
  • investing in diversity training
  • improving board processes to be more inclusive
  • initiating a mentoring or traineeship

Perhaps you know a board director who has advocated for or sponsored people from diverse backgrounds to join a board.  Or you know a board who has benefited from their focus on diversity and inclusion.

We invite you to share your inspiring story with us.
