Therapy Focus
Therapy Focus is one of Australia’s leading professional therapy providers. Based in Perth, we provide services throughout Western Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories.

Therapy Focus was outsourced from government in 1998 and established as a community based not-for-profit. The initial Board was a group of committed professionals who all had links with therapy, disabilities, and education. Over the years that skills-based approach has been balanced by representation from those with a lived experience of disabilities. Now we are endeavouring to diversify further by tapping into a younger cohort of directors; one that may be more in touch with the aspirations of our clientele.
We have high expectations for the Emerging Leaders in Governance Program. The quality of the alumni will bring a welcome refresh to our own Board and the quality of tutelage to new participants will be enhanced by our own professionalism. We also see opportunities for our own emerging leaders to develop beyond their technical skills through participation in this excellent applied governance program.
The growing network of progressive partners in the Emerging Leaders in Governance Program is building a momentum of value for diversity in governance. An exciting time for Therapy Focus to join the movement and contribute to the diversity of partners involved.
